Obscuraphobia by Calvin Pineda

Obscuraphobia is the sophomore album from acclaimed numismatic historian and sometime-singer-songwriter Calvin Pineda. Recorded in about three days between tuna sandwiches and watching many, many video essays, Obscuraphobia is an album interested in memory, anxiety, and Saturday Night Live.

Recorded at Riverflow Studios in Lynnwood, WA, with supplemental work done in My Bedroom in Kuna, ID. Thanks to Anthony Tomashefsky, Bennett Huhn, Marlee Zimmer, and Matt Bunk. Cover art by the inimitable Annie Lajoie, my partner in chaos for this project, to whom all gratitude is proffered.

This album is dedicated to Dani, the nurse who gave me my meningitis shot. I hope I get to read your screenplay someday.
