Recorded a few days after a week long hospital stay due to epilepsy and large seizures, the EP came together in the space of a few hours. With the help of some verses that had been marinating in a few different composition books, a couple saved notes, and a handful of beats from two of my favorite producers I consistently return to work with.

From The Cipher Austin, MDK, The One Village Music Project, and across the ocean to form MDKDFT. BZA’s remained a figurehead in the communities he’s applied his natural talents and learned skills to. Bringing HipHop performances and workshops to some of the world’s largest festivals like SXSW and Bremenales, along with schools, universities, and to the incarcerated populations across borders.
