Metamorphosis EP by BufoBufo

After his recent appearance on Tone Dropout ‘Volume 6’, Ritual Poison co-founder BufoBufo steps up on its sibling label, Batrachian, with a four-track selection of mutant beats, meshing techno, breakbeats and electro.

‘Icelight’ is a 4/4 roller with ominous synth bass and dub clangs; ‘Fall Into Stars’ scatters eerie samples and riffs over sine wave low-end and crisp drums; ‘Mutant Enzyme’ is all frozen electro blips and nods to jungle; and ‘On The Salt Flats’ adds some lowrider funk to scrapyard percussion and spooky vocal snippets.
