So what do I care if the sun don’t shine?
I’m just sitting here with time.
And as the clouds collect, I’ll draw my blinds

And it’s a rainy day, guess I’ll just dream away

The winds blow the people on the streets below
As if they didn’t know where to go
The cars and the buses all move real slow
Seems like a film from long ago.

It’s funny how the rain puts things in black and white
Beleaguered by a rampage that goes on overnight
And when you rise tomorrow you find it’s there again
Sometimes my piano seems to be my only friend.
