Starlight Reverie by Brent LaDue

This album is a culmination of my learnings over the last couple of years as well as my desire to express myself musically 'on tape' rather than just jamming away on my guitar or synths into the ether.

It began with a modest aim - I wanted to write 3-5 tracks that could fit a game, each having a different theme like an item shop, battle, etc. Once I got started I found myself having fun and kept getting ideas that I wanted to explore, which eventually expanded and became what you see here. I did not set out to write this many but I can say I am proud of what I accomplished and am ecstatic to be able to share it with you.

The idea is that the soundtrack belongs to a JRPG style game, heavily influenced by a lot of the classics as well as some modern ones. I arranged the songs in a way that will hopefully give you the notion of a story being told as you might experience during the course of playing through an actual game.

Please use your imagination as you listen and delve into the world of Starlight Reverie!
