First Shots! by Bolanow Brawl
Here are twelve songs that have come together since our EP in 2016 (some of them even earlier). We’re a chaotic bunch from Hamburg, and somehow, after almost a decade marked by a pandemic, line-up chaos, and boozy nights, we finally managed to record and release them. They are based on personal stories and observations, weird thoughts, and our slightly broken sense of humor — plus a solid dose of alcohol. We say cheers and goodbye to Stulle, Keith and Ole, welcome to Urko and Jogi, and want to thank Iron Mike Motherfucker, Klinke, Alteau, Mark, Mirko (without you, this record wouldn’t exist), Sandy, Benny & Heidinger (big love for loud shouts!), as well as all the photographers, everyone who gave us a beer, a shout, or even a stage, bands we shared it with, everyone who supported us in any way — and last but not least: you, for listening to or buying this record!

Bolanow Brawl was founded in Hamburg, Germany in 2012 and plays melodic, snotty, boisterous and often beer-heavy music (but who doesn't?). The band name is based on our first youthful experiences with alcohol - hopefully these mixed feelings are reflected in the music. In 2016, we released our 4 song EP. Our debut album “First Shots!” was released in August 2025 by Smith & Miller Records.
