I by BO|\|E

I is the first iteration of BO|\|E. It is a distillation of disparate influences including drone, noise and modernism. It is an exploration of the self through abstract sound ( I) ), noise ( |-| ) and dissonance (O\/\/).

I pertains to one or to oneself. It is a beginning. It is an expanding of potentiality. It is a realisation of conciseness. When we are I we are at the start and the end of the journey. I seeks individuality from the other but to also be at I with the cosmos. Harmonically speaking, music strains to resolve to the I and though we pass through many changes we still remain as that singular entity, that of I.

I) Is a composition of two notes. It is the introduction to I and a meditation upon textural complexity in juxtaposition to harmonic complexity.

|-| is the cornerstone of I. It is the gravitational mass around which I) and O\/\/ orbit. It draws inspiration direct from the Sunn. It is the transitional gate. It is the heart. It is.

O\/\/ is the ending dirge. It is a mutation of the modernist conception of Serialism. Each note of the chromatic scale is presented in an intervallically harmonic way until all notes are used. When it finishes its first iteration the 'contrapuntal' notes introduced are that of the series in retrograde.
