i would ask how long it takes to forget

seemed to be
i would ask him to amend my dreams
keep the ones i miss the most far far away
i need to keep sane

spirit as perfect as yours

were as flawed as them

selfishly ate from the tree
seeking love with no knowledge
how many other imperfect beings have
declared feelings
without considering
the possibility of being guilty of
hurting everyone around
