Glass Cathedral is a sanctified descent into the underworld of dance where devotion is drowned in distortion, and faith is measured in basslines. The debut from Aven Oxiia, this record fuses ritual pop, ghostwave, and shadow club electronica into a fever dream of broken halos and midnight anthems.
Carved from synths, stained in industrial pulses, and layered with vocal wounds Oxiia’s voice leads you through glitch lit sanctuaries where angels rave and sinners vanish in fog. The voices of Ekklesia flicker in and out like echoes from confession booths, but the sermon belongs to her.
From the haunting seduction of “Glass Cathedral” to the heat-sick drop of “Heatstroke” and the ruined devotion of “No Sleep Saints,” each track is both hymn and weapon.
