Constellation by Bocassah

This is an outstanding album in Bocassah's musical oeuvre. Inspired by artists on the Kuckuck label, such as Peter Michael Hamel, early Deuter and Kitaro, and also strongly influenced by Wendy Carlos' Sonic Seasonings, this C-60 Cassette contained two long tracks that should have a peaceful, tranquil feeling. The drumcomputer stays switched off, and only few and slow sequences are played.

Instead there are lots of multi-layered environmental sounds and even the old recorder from schooldays was pulled out again.

As usual in those days, each musical piece was created in a single day, from idea to programming, rehearsal and recording.
All music is presented in its original form, as re-mixing is impossible. Only minor sound processing was applied to reduce the enormous tape-hiss.

Bocassah started recording music in 1982, utilizing minimal equipment and even less musical knowledge. Inspired by electronic music from the 70s and 80s, several cassettes were released from 1986 to 1997. Bocassah's music will now be digitally re-released in random order.
