1st Boca 45 album recorded for Grand Central in 2004. LP also released on Invada Records in Australia.
The name Boca 45 is a composition made of two parts: 'Boca' after the Argentenian football team, Boca Juniors, and '45' in reference to the revolutions per minute of a vinyl record. This album more than lives up to it's namesake, being a cut up blend of hip hop, funk, rock and disco, with a touch of party samba spirit. And there are also some great vocal collaborations here from Monkey Moo, Profile, Retna and Reds and Tammy Payne. Overall this is a really infectious listen which will put a smile on your face and has that rare ability to be an album you can listen to anytime.
