Demerung by Glsch & DDT

Also known from Slow Village, glsch has contributed to the most important albums of the Hungarian rap scene in recent years (Beton.Hofi, Co Lee, 6363, Wavy, Ótvar Pestis, etc.) and in 2023 he released his first solo EP under the name Zúgó. He produced his current album, “Demerung”, with DDT, a trio of excellent musicians/producers.

The members of the formation are Tamás Heilig (speiz, Punnany Massif), Dániel Varga (Mordái, New Fossils) and Damján Ocsovay (New Fossils). Demerung is an unorthodox hip-hop album, full of experimental elements, unconventional structures, jazzy solutions filtering through potentiometers, and avant-garde lyrics.

Artists such as Levente Boros and Ádám Klausz in the rhythm section, Gege, Co Lee, Lusta Geri, Doktor Monoton, Nash on the rap and vocal front, and poet Márton Simon on a spoken word composition also contributed to the production of the material.
