Earth 2049 from Just Rattlesnakes by Blake Girndt
This song's lyrics started with the line, "Bitter feelings ground into an end. The acrid taste of smoke prevents." I have a tendency to use stream of conscious writing to generate material. Sometimes that results in the surreal, but here I hooked into the feeling of escape and a future you cannot change. If we don't turn around the world this may very well be the only solution for many of us.
