Rubén Vázquez Amos (A.K.A. bladebae) was born in Huelva, a small city off the breezy southern Atlantic coast of Spain, to a Spanish father and British mother. Bladebae's nods to many styles (flamenco, folk, prog, hip hop, electronic music) are all subsumed within what is, in essence, a singer-songwriter project.
