"The compositions are fine, but it is Easley clarity that makes this disc stand out. On the first track he is playing freely, overdubbing flute to set up a pastel of sound washes, and a structure very similar to All The Things You Are. In Blues Again he shows his passion for the blues running deep and heavy. Sticking is bop at his best. This album provides more bright moments with each play. (Michael G. Nastos Ann Arbor News)
