Four different takes of control voltage plumbing work with the Boots N Cat application in the Phazerville firmware for Ornament and Crime. Boots consists of two drum sounds that are both derived from digital noise generators with filtering and envelopes applied in order to allow them to become something resembling kicks/toms and snares/hats/cymbals. Two iterations of Boots were set up in conjunction with a wide array of signal processors, modulation tools and mixers within my modular system in order to produce the pulsating rhythmic landscapes offered here.
