amkarahoi, an electronic trio ( consisting of Purple Uncle Chereshenkaa and Minereed ) released their first album on vinyl, via patience/impatience label https://patienceimpatience.bandcamp.com/album/uncle-reed-in-the-purple-mine;
The Patience is dream-pop/electronic group that was active from 2007 till 2013. They released 2 EPs on https://saintmarierecords.bandcamp.com/
and soon after they disbanded.
So before dropping the cassette with the amkarahoi second album on biardo recordings, we decided to make this release first.
The Patience is the very first group of Nikita Chepurnoi (1/3 of amkarahoi) so amkarahoi just used the sample from the unreleased Patience’s tune from 2009, and chereshenkaa also made her vocal rework of the track.
Just before the single release, Nikita decided to also release the Patience track not to take for granted the good old days;
So what we have here is dark and atmospheric ambient and dub collision from amkarahoi along with massive attack inspired the Patience track recorded at night in 2009.Recording took place in a cozy studio in the second half of the ruined house, soon after this house was destroyed but luckily the track survived.
