'Free' is an emotive R&B track about the tug of wars of relationships and the potential feeling of being trapped with an urge to escape for some air. At times there is almost an unconscious, habitual addiction to the feeling of conflict that you keep going back for more like it's a romantic holiday experience, when really it is hell.

The conflict feels familiar, the adrenaline is there, but it is not a safe place. Free is a sonic expression trying to capture both sides of the rope, the give and take, and the ups and downs.
