This album will forever be linked to a pilgrimage to Ethiopia. A journey I made to offer communion for my family (both those who are alive and those who have passed through death) These pieces capture the stoke of my mind leading up to that journey.

This album is also a sharing of my life. A life born into a culture it was never made for. It is a testament to the practices of mindfulness, psychotherapy, neuroscience and established wisdom from the traditions and customs of the world. All of this in addition to my heritage. With it I hope to pass on and make tangible the mental world that has shaped a life I am proud of. The world is slowly waking up to the importance of the brain; how it needs to be exercised and nourished like every other part of the body. This album seeks to promote mental health through the practice of shared experience.
