Other Places formed before, during, and after Beloved Binge's move to Durham, NC from Seattle, WA: the band moved to Durham without ever stepping foot in North Carolina. The cover art is from a picture of Rob Beloved at a beautiful old Platanos tree in Eleni Binge's family village in Pirgos Ithomas Greece (trani vrisi, the three springs). Other Places was recorded at Zero Return Studios in Atlanta in two very quick days, analog; ribbon mics.
