composed within our first month of collective isolation and culled from an archive of field recordings, patrick shiroishi's (holy alone) presents an excerpt of audio journals from one of los angeles' most prolific artists.

a non-linear exploration of space, a coming into non-art reality, a series of sonic vignettes collaged and cohesive, (holy alone) is a confluence between the intimate nature of the home (raindrops, footsteps, passing cars, radio noise) and a freedom of movement in the attunement of our world. field recordings interspersed and woven with winding studio session takes, shiroishi offers us a glimpse into his life as deconstructed process rather than a traditional album as commodity object.

as the built environments that we inhabit live and breathe, the practice of everyday life finds a language. in this conceit (holy alone) is a practice in deeper listening.
