I can't look away,
And I don't like it,
Grind my teeth,
It's like a second sense to resent,
The dirt I couldn't rinse,
It shouldn't be this way,

Stress is suffocating,
And I never had the chance,
The VCR is dead.

Gliding across the floor,
It's fine,
The northern lights are in the sky,
Traveling South to try and meet the setting sun,

I couldn't get,
A single thought in with my dying breath,

On my own two feet.

In every lifetime,

Can't stop counting on a twist of fate,
Into the red,
The TV static said,

Who wouldn't listen,
I can't be there,
For passing thoughts and cigarettes,
