elaborately, yet simply, a journey.

this is supreme wish fulfillment. to the extreme. by the time this comes out it'll have marked a huge transitional point in my life–ever since i was a teen and i first heard Com Truise and HOME i became so FASCINATED with the idea of telling a space-themed story thru the new retro wave genre. YEARS AND YEARS of me pushing for this and gathering all sorts of inspiration from new retro wave and A LOT of vaporwave musicians/the scene/etc got me to this point. i finally was able to do it. young me would be so happy, so very happy.

i set out to make a completely new sound with this. derived heavily from the synthwave sound but took all sorts of inspiration from different sources and even my own visual art regarding the sound palette from this. it VERY MUCH has me written all over it. wonderful and fun to produce although a bit difficult for me to articulate at points.

its not a historical chronicle of my head from about ~2014 or so to 2018 but it's the *ABSOLUTE* culmination of that point in my life regarding what i was about, then. as it's likewise a really sweet send-off. plus the whole 80s/90s thing felt kinda old to me anyway after a while lol. good vibes though. come a long way and that era bore fruit. hope you like it–it's DEFINITELY for you but. i mean, well, you can tell how i feel about it by now. :P

in other words this is my only synthwave album dont say astroblur the synthwave guy like as if thast my main thing i am of many genres
