This track is dedicated to and inspired by drummer Eric Kamau Grávátt.

Grávátt, mostly known for his early work with Weather Report as well aswith McCoy Tyner, plays like no one else! With his unique energy, definition and laser sharp focus, he had left an undeniable impression on generations of drummers.

I hope that this piece captures some of his tribal energy, mystique, and the explorative sounds of the 1970s.
This piece is enhanced by the voice of Sun Ra - the visionary pianist and composer (courtesy of the Sun Ra archive).
