Berth expresses Archie’s journey, internally and externally, to find a deeper sense of comfort and belonging. The EP aims to reflect how everyday experiences like frustration, elation, the mundane and boring, or the novel and exciting, can ultimately lead to a more beautiful and greater understanding of oneself.

Archie Cowen's hands-on, hardware-based approach to dance music is informed both by her years of study in improvisation and instrumental technique as well as her obsession with Midwestern techno and house music.

Her music can be heard as a solo artist as well as in her hardware duo, dbl, with Zoey Guyette.
