Lyrics

Here opinions are like smartphones, everybody's got one
For bigotry a megaphone, prejudice a shotgun

Webs tossed spun, did we ever have control?
Tried to bridge a gap, built a residence for trolls

I dare you to propose a conjecture
We will throw out, oppose, hold lecture

Sex on everything, dead gen mortified
Click baited hooks push pollution to our waterlines

Wavelengths differ, shimmer into algorithms
Led to bear witness to how we're different

Divided by our differences, measured by our anguish
Balance is a lexicon of dead and buried language

Bandwidth, withstand content overload
Way too engrossed to recognise the comatose

Robot wont war adorning hardware
Bots will kill us softly from our palms stare

All of this at the tip of a swiping thumb
In the grip of addiction minds went numb
Infinity at the click of vibrant drum
A sickening twist to the highest sum
Impotence is dish we designed, so yum
Impetus of a trick and I succumbed but,
These rabbit holes are no longer our own

I feel like a 28 days late ape
Plugged into this hate, and this rage they satiate

Emaciate the truth dilute, confuse
Views passed off as the news

In view of dead body, I can't unsee
Two opposing invites to the same damn party

The art of presenting a lie
Gunned down by the filtered snapshots of a best life

Confusing what is real and what is AI
Where beauty standards simulate, take lives

Desensitised to this bloodied screen
Where everybody's trying to sell something

Fishing for a follower, a friend, found neither
Writing memoirs to announce to the ether

Today I stumbled on a suicide post
Reached out, was told to mind my own
I hope they’re ok

All of this at the tip of a swiping thumb
In the grip of addiction minds went numb
Infinity at the click of vibrant drum
A sickening twist to the highest sum
Impotence is dish we designed, so yum
Impetus of a trick and I succumbed but,
These rabbit holes are no longer our own
