A revitalised and rejuvenated Applescal serves up three tasteful club sounds on his new '2023 EP'. The Atomnation label head has been making music, DJing and running the imprint for the past 15 years. Within this time, Applescal has been exploring all musical styles but maturing and evolving his taste to express his love of artful, melodic techno and house.

'Sender' is a sublime deep and driving techno workout with a bouncy steel-plated groove overlaid with heavenly chords and vocals that drift in and out to create a thrilling experience. 'Aliens' is a less linear track with a dream-like atmosphere, combined with enchanting melodic frequencies that loop onto sustained chords. The drums lap like waves at your feet, elevating you above the dance floor as an intuitive vocal monologue creates a god-like figure on the dancefloor. Closing things off, 'Flash' is a dramatic astral techno cut, taking you through the cosmos with physical drums and meaningful chords that keep you locked in.
