i had a therapist who once said that these states would go away,
which brought my mom relief is that mean that
in bad times there'd be good times
it also gave her anxiety because
i meant that in the good times there would be bad times
it always confused me because i didn't really know what i meant
granted i didn’t realize until later
waxing winning implied
what i really applied
that these states are fixed, constant
and would remain with me for the rest of my life
