Rare by Andy White

Rare is a collection of Andy's b-sides, rarities and unreleased tracks. It originally came out in 1999 as a companion to his 'Best of' album 'Compilation'. In recent years it has only been available through Andy's website, so this is the first digital release.

The digital files have been remastered and are full of surprises. The opening track 'In Fairness Boss' (one of Andy's favourite recordings) would have been the track between sides one and two of Out There if it could have fitted on the vinyl album. The version of Religious Persuasion features an amazing vocal from Sinéad O Connor. There are live recordings, home demos and a 1986 Janice Long session track, as well as songs which only appeared on 12" singles or Irish releases. Alternative versions from studio tapes and two of Andy's rare cover versions.
