Isolation by Andy White

Lockdown #2 and we're going crazy with a month to go. Making tracks with my Italian bandmates and Sebastian, trying to add to the sum total of beauty in this masked world. You know how it is. A friend wrote to me saying isolation hadn't changed how he lived his life. What's the problem with it? OK, I'm lucky. We're safe. But I can't wait to drive right out of here, coming out from the underground.

Wrote this after Empty Streets of Florence, swapping files from lockdown in Melbourne with Max, Lele and Filippo in Reggio Emilia, and Rod in Belfast. Mixed it as best as I could. Woke up this morning and discovered I had scribbled the song's title on a piece of paper. It must be time to release it. Sebastian took the drawing and made it into the cover, Simon called and offered to master it this afternoon.

Now there's a month less ten minutes to go. Everybody rocks and rolls. It's a privilege. Lots of love and thanks for the support.
