“STILL” (as in: the continuance of an action or condition rather than a state of calm) is a song that tackles the UK Government’s approach to the Global Pandemic of 2020. As the year panned out it became a monumental disaster. The song is loosely based on the opening scene of The Tempest by Shakespeare and set against the timeline of the full moon. (Pretentious? Moi?)
My dear friend Louise Wilson (incredible musician/composer) sings the harmonies on Still and gives the track the epic feel and dramatic atmosphere I was looking for.
