Ghettofied by Andy Metz

“Ghettofied” is the first post-high school solo album that I recorded in the middle of working on songs about great books. It may have gotten lost in the mix a little bit, but I think it’s still pretty quality. The title track may be the best song I’ve ever done, and it’s funny because it uses a sample from the soundtrack of the game Final Fantasy X...not very Ghettofied. Props to E. Day (then El-Dawg) on the cover. This album was recorded in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Seattle, Washington. My favorite tracks are “Ghettofied,” “Not Preaching” and “This Apparition.”
