Apparition by &Tilly x Horseshoes

After releasing Come With Me in 2022 (the track ramassing 100K streams since then), Horseshoes teamed up with &Tilly once again to “continue the story” – adding another chapter to their musical love story the artists invited you to with the first track. This time, we’re further along in the relationship, in the moment where the (fictional) characters are owning up to mistakes, facing the messiness, and accepting the kind of love that grows with time.

Apparition is full of metaphors, subtle nudges, and those little moments of blame we all move through in a relationship. It’s an instrumentally rich, emotionally honest track – layered with dreamy ooohs and a beautiful contrast between the two voices.

Rooted in Americana and country folk, complete with real banjo, fiddle, and live drums by Robby Sinclair (Chet Faker, Vampire Weekend, Natasha Bedingfield, The War on Drugs & many more), the song also breathes in indie folk notes, bringing a sound that feels both gentle and deep. Apparition will appear in the golden light of September – and hopefully enchant your heart with its gentle truth and melodic depth.
