Election Night by Andrew Tuttle
On the early evening of the 2025 Australian Federal election, I recorded a few improvisations during the uncertain few hours between voting and seeing the results come in.
I've spoken to various friends and peers in recent months about how I've been in a pretty big creative rut and/or rethink. It's been frustrating to be in but I've really valued talking to people about it. This track may or may not be a sign of what was or what's next, but I'm really happy with how this one turned out so rather than overthink it I decided to share it.
Thank you as always to Lawrence English for a wonderful job tidying it up for general listening, including getting a nice full stereo sound out of a mono recording.
