Utopian Fantasy by Allie Crow Buckley
It is my goal to create an otherworldly realm tying in imagery that embodies different facets of ‘The Goddess’ or the ‘Faerie Queen’ - dark intensity conjunct with euphoric beauty.
Originally inspired by a deck of oracle cards, the visuals for this collection of music will weave together themes of magic, myth, folklore, and classical art. From Titania to Artemis.
To set the tone I will leave you with a quote from Tolkien - in the voice of Galadriel:
In place of the Dark Lord you will set up a Queen. And I shall not be dark, but beautiful and terrible as the Morning and the Night. Fair as the Sea and the Sun and the Snow upon the Mountain. Dreadful as the Storm and the Lightning. Stronger than the foundations of the earth. All shall love me and despair.
