Presenting a re-envisioning of Aussie-drummer Alexander Flood’s 2023 LP “Oscillate” - the remixes cast a wide sonic net that pushes the sonic buttons but still feels familiar.
The OG line-up of 1st class musicians, Hungarian keyboardist Àbáse, Australian bassist Horatio Luna & Brazilian flutist Paulo Cedraz combine effortlessly with RMX artists, Italy’s Godblesscomputer (aka Koralle) bringing blissful grooves + complex Caribbean rhythms w/ floating guitars; CHAKRAM’s RMX emboding electronics tones woven from the fabric of South Asian Cinema; Àbáse’s futuristic jazz-keys pave the way to a galactic jam session.
The remixes blend Berlin’s jazz-electro roots with Alexander’s deft sonic pocket, a pulsing groove.
