And so it was
That the time had come to pass
For timeless evil
To reach us from aeons past
A brooding flame
Mounting up to a swiddening pyre
For what may have been
May it now be engulfed in fire

A screeching wail
Amidst the clouds
Echoes in the scarlet dawn
All there's to be built
Will be torn down
In an annihilation

None will survive
No release from the reckoning end
Across the skies
Bird of fire flies with baneful wings
A beast of prey
Majestic being of ancient tales
Has come to greet us with
Mangling quills and a deathly flame

And there I was
I couldn't shed a single tear
As countless hearts were maimed
And torn with ruthless fear
The sphere of man
Is now abruptly brought to heel
With burning eyes
And lacerating wings of steel
