On the release-date it was exactly 555 years ago, that Boabdil, the sultan of Granada and Ferdinand and Isabella, the King and Queen of Castile, León, and Aragón signed and ratified the Treaty of Granada was signed and ratified by thus ending the Granada war and sealing the end of the islamic era on the Iberian Peninsula.
