Sanity Check by Aiselis
Sanity Check is the debut album by Aiselis – a band from the heart of Silesia, where between mine shafts power plants' stacks their defiant music is born. For several years, they’ve been creating a shared language of sound that describes both the everyday life of post-industrial cities and their own inner states. Gritty, provocative guitars intertwine with powerful bass and a pulsating, danceable rhythm section. The lyrics – raw, honest, and disillusioned – complete the whole.
Aiselis draws inspiration from post-punk, industrial, and 80s and 90s pop, but transforms these influences into something entirely their own – full of emotion and fierce energy. It’s an invitation to journey to the south of Poland, into a world of sounds that unsettle and refuse to leave you indifferent.
