Lonesome Ghosts by Aesthetic Perfection
I wanted to end this year with something unexpected; something Aesthetic Perfection had never done before. Written by myself, Chris Harms (Lord of the Lost) and Corvin Bahn, this very well could be the first industrial holiday ballad. Replete with sleigh bells, church bells and a full orchestra, “Lonesome Ghosts” is certainly unlike anything I’ve ever created. Lyrically, it tells the story of our longing for connection, our desire not to be alone, and offers hope that there is truly a chance at redemption - we’re not all doomed to spend our lives haunted by ghosts of the past.
