In the works for five years, BASE SEX is ACCENT WALL’s most sexual sonic achievement. Awash with broken fuzz, extended echo chambers, unbearably shronking saxploitation, and whispered off-key feel-weird nothings, it is an object of both forbidden desire and dishonest disgust.
Sonically, the rhythmic thrusting of dozens of liquidly hot chruningly crisp bass guitars provides a sensual base canvas for great blasts of penetrating saxophonic releases. Lyrically, each steamed-under-pressure murmur delivers a glimpse of tales better left unsummarized.
