Duo project featuring Atlanta, GA's Tony Gordon (electric bass w/objects) and Curtis Stephens (guitar and objects) also from Georgia but residing now in Nashville, TN.
"tc2" is the follow up to their self-titled debut that garnered immediate praise from reputable names like Sam McKinlay and Ted Byrnes.
Someone once said that they sounded like "the crack of lightning and the rumble of thunder mixed together", which is a pretty accurate description, but I don't get how they make these sounds with bass and guitar because to me it's more akin to a mic'd up cement mixer filled with scrap metal and broken glass. Fascinating!
Forming in Atlanta in 2017 after meeting and sharing the same Wednesday nights at WREK radio, and then playing in the group Suffer Bomb Damage (along with Stephen Fenton and Ian Cone) it was inevitable that they would continue to play together because their individual sounds intuitively complemented each other so well.
