Spirit World by Prolepsis
Prolepsis has been one of contemporary Harsh Noise's best kept secrets for the past couple of years, although i've done my best to put people on to the project, which is not easy considering their minimal online presence and short list of physical only self-released titles (that honestly tend to outshine a vast majority of hyped releases by more well known artists).
Until now this Michigan-based project has only been featured on AAD's "Life is Fucking Stupendous!" compilation, but the brief sonic excursion of "Spirit World" was totally worth the long wait, and will hopefully see Prolepsis ascend further out of the shadows and onto more people's radar.
What you can expect here are short blasts of restrained cut-up noise continuously ripping through a cold yet tranquil layer of melancholy ambience, reminiscent of early aughts Impregnable or Ahlzagailzehguh.
