Fuoco by Coma Winds
Debut release from this new project by Branden Diven (AAD boss).
The idea for Coma Winds started with the concept to take raw amateur home footage of severe weather, collage it to tape and blast it through effects. There are forthcoming releases that utilize source material from hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis...which was the initial intention, but on "Fuoco" the focus is on combustion/heat energy (aka fire).
Sources include actual sounds from deadly house fires, wildfires, explosions, shoot outs, and volcanic activity, all run through various distortion and fuzz pedals...creating a sound that is equal parts Harsh Noise & Musique Concrete.
