1. The process of transformation from an immature form to an adult form in two or more distinct stages.
2. A change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means.

The concept for this album began before the birth of my son Isaac. I felt an evolution in myself that changed me from what I thought I was in to the man I am now. A complete transformation that even surpasses what I thought I would become. I began the writing process new years 2011. At the time I was in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and full of creative energy.

These songs were are written in an autobiographical style and are these are my musical snapshots through out the year. The idea behind the sound of the record was to blend live instrumentation, analogue, and digital sounds in a way that was musical. I pulled inspiration from seeing the birth place of humanity and witnessing my family grow.

I hope you feel the change in the music and the energy of life in the songs.
