Console Crusaders are back! Following on from the success of their Streets of Rage tribute compilation, 'Synths of Rage', 30th Floor Records brings you another powerhouse collection of retro synth tracks from some of the hottest artists in the scene - this time 'Synth Fighters', our tribute to the legendary music from Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, and Super Street Fighter II !

Here you'll find modern interpretations of all the classic fighter themes from the games, originally composed by Yoko Shimomura, Isao Abe, and Syun Nishigaki. All tracks maintain a cool retro vibe to transport you back to the early 90s when these titles were the hottest thing on the video games market! These are not remixes, these are cover versions each producer has painstakingly recreated from scratch, infusing each composition with their own unique sounds and styles.

To give you that extra slice of nostalgia, the themes appear in the order of fighter stages according to Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, and Street Fighter II: Champion Edition. The themes of the additional characters introduced in Super Street Fighter II subsequently appear in alphabetical order. The compilation closes with a rework of the bonus stage music featured in Street Fighter II: Champion Edition.
