Spyros Giasafakis is a Greek composer, founder of the ensemble Daemonia Nymphe,a project dedicated to create sounds based in the ancient Greek tradition using primarily 'ancient' Greek instruments such as the lyra, the pandoura and the barbitos among others. He is the first artist worldwide to compose and perform improvisations with these instruments.
