Kossi Mawun
Kossi Mawun was born in West Africa, in Togo. In 2003 he joined WAABB, a percussion and brass group. From there he met Danau Ella, a jazz drummer who gave him a lead,the secrets of jazz drumming.
Influenced by jazz and Vodou music, he released his solo album, the fruit of relentless and passionate research, a cocktail of traditional music, Togolese inspiration dressed in jazz.
