Ian Torres Music
I’ve been active in Chicago’s music community over two decades leading the Ian Torres Big Band (2008–2014) and releasing January (2013). I was a finalist in the Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Competition and received a DownBeat Honorable Mention for Best Student Arrangement. Alongside my creative work, I’ve taught music in the Chicago Public Schools since 2007.
