What started as Dove M. Cline’s solo project in 2014 has since blossomed into the trio as we know it today with accompaniment from Grand Rapids’ own indie-emo veterans, Wilbur Murphy and Lake Brown - both also known for their own impressive resumes within the genre. Cheap Emotion is known for their big melancholic sounds, dynamic composition, finger picking melodies, and driving rhythms.
